Here are the remainder of the antique quilts shown at the DJ Retreat. The applique quilt was purchased in Shipshewanna. The two Amish quilts are from the early 1900's. The Shoofly reminds me of a Gwen Marston 'liberated' quilt.

Love the applique quilt especially...the centre block sets the quilt beautifully! Thanks for sharing!
It's wonderful to see these old quilts. The red and green blocks with urns look very similar to one I saw on the civil war bride quilt blog.
absolutely beautiful
oh my LOve that red/green applique quilt of course with a bit of cheddar!
did you buy this quilt?????
I agree the shoofly is great one I could see Gwen making.
thanks for sharing..
must have been a wonderful retreat.

Beautiful!!! I love the red and green one.
Love the quilts but especially the green and red! How fun to be able to see these up close and personal!
I'm not the owner of the red and green applique quilt - it went home with somebody else. I didn't buy much fabric - not after my indulgence in PA recently. Fabric was pushing $10/yd at one quilt shop - I didn't even look - didn't need the temptation. I did buy JoJo Pretzels and vanilla Coke - that's a must! I also found a red transferware Vista lunch plate at the antique mall that came home with me!
The red & green applique quilt is outstanding!
