Star Alignment

Are you checking for star points in my quilt? I'm not referring to pieced stars - rather the cosmic kind. My personal stars aligned yesterday with frigid temps, lots of snowfall and Lori's doll quilt-along. I usually make full size quilts - quite a time investment. It was great working on a project that could be completed in a 'snow day'.

Thanks, Lori! I'm naming this quilt after you - Oregon Trails.

It looks great Vicki! Is the center squares by Jo morton...cheddar and something? Or butter and something?
It looks wonderful!! It is fun to do a little quilt every now and then and I'm so happy you joined in.

The center square is an old Windham Dargate Indigo.

I just love it
wow what a different look it has, I may have to make a few of these and YES I will be making this as a QUEEN Size quilt too! I love the pattern
your light fabric is what I chose for my sashing for my nearly insane quilt
I know who to call now if I don't have enough of it!
I bought all I could find and its short of what the book recommended not by much but knew I could put out an SOS if I need to!

I like seeing a version with different fabric in place of cheddar. Love your fabric choices! Nothing beats Dargate fabrics for being bold, bright, and beautiful.

Thank you for your comment on my blog....Judy's Common Thread. I am having trouble with the e-mail link at this moment-otherwise, would have e-mailed.

I thoroughly enjoy your site and am a follower. Lots of inspiration. Thanks for blogging!

Your doll quilt looks fantastic. Quite different from the others I have seen. The feature fabric looks very interesting.
