This has always been a favorite block, so I thought I would make a sample 9" - too small. I wanted to see the fabrics more, with a larger scale block, so I sewed a 12" sample. You can see where this is going...

Upscale farm quilt, perfect description!
It is lovely! What a great pattern and a terrific way to showcase some beautiful fabric.
Looks great--and I like the term "upscale farm quilt". : )
I like that a lot!
Your quilt is truly upscale. What a great block to showcase your fabulous fabric collection. I really love it. I don't think it needs a border either.
That block is on my to-do list too and now that I saw your quilt, I sooooo want to get at it. Love your colours. The kind of quilt I just want to bundle up in. Upscale farm quilt ... that could be a very good name for it.
Thanks for sharing.
Great looking quilt and very upscale.
What fun - great colors! Don't you love it when a project takes on a life of its own and you follow right along!
