Time Flies!

Hard to believe, but our first blog anniversary is this Saturday.  Last year, Jan dropped by on my birthday and we were chatting on the porch - six days later we were blogging.  So, we're having an anniversary 'give away' - two party-goers will each receive 50 3" squares and 5 fat quarters (all pre-washed). Leave a comment with your favorite quilt book title.  I'll draw two names on Saturday at 7:00 PM (close to the time of our first post) .  Thanks for dropping by - we love reading your comments!

Happy Blogoversary! I have enjoyed your blog, probably since the beginning (Larry liked your creative title). I might be a bit of a lurker, :-} I've recently enjoyed Scrap Basket Surprises, Adventures with Leaders and Enders, and my older favorite is Tried and True by Barbara Brandenburg.

A very happy birthday, both blog and calendar! It was my (real) birthday yesterday, so HBD to me too.
My most favourite book is an oldie but a goodie - Roderick Kiracofe's "The American Quilt". My copy sports a host of yellow post-it notes flagging quilts of interest, quilts that maybe I might make, and great design ideas.
Thanks for sharing your quilting life. Kate

Congratulations on your anniversary, getting your heads together and starting a blog was a brilliant idea.
Favourite book is Freddy Moran's house book. Not because I want to make the patterns, it's just a cheerful happy one to look through.

I just left a message but can't tell if it "registered," so I'm trying again. Happy Blog-aversary! I just bought Jinny Beyers book on Medallion Qults. I had borrowed it from the library and then decided I could not live without it. I also find all of Kaffe Fassetts books to be the best in eye candy. Thank you for offering this give away. May you have many more happy years of quilting and blogging.
