Mountain Trail

Mountain Trails little quilt top is completed.  I reduced Lori's pattern from 20 to 12 blocks.  This is a more usable size for my doll beds.  Lots of fun to sew, even though I had to work on my 1/4" a bit due to cutting lengths of strips beforehand.  This is a method I've not used before, and it certainly creates accuracy.   I've been on a doll, or little, quilt roll lately, and many other bloggers appear to be also.  Thanks for another fun quilt-along, Lori!

I love it! The red you've used is so deep and rich. Gorgeous fabrics!

Your fabrics are beautiful! I didn't cut my fabrics accurately before adding them - just squared up the block when it was finished, and that kept it easier to do. Your blog is one of my favorites.

All the little quilts are fabulous and I discovered that my machine stitching needs a lot of practice but I would say yours looks pretty neat.

The quilt picture is eyecatching, but your new background makes reading the text impossible (or atleast quite difficult) for me !

I love browns and burgundy in a quilt, and this pattern shows them off nicely.

Jan, love your scrappy little doll quilt! i did the same with my mountain trail except i made another mini-trail with the remaining eight blocks, so i've ended up with two small quilts. This sure was a fun QAL :)))

What a pretty, rich red! I passed up this quiltalong - enjoying others participation. These little quilts sure do stitch up quickly. I guess that is why they are so popular.
