Four Block
This four block quilt was hanging up in the back of a booth at an antique show. I fell in love with it's quirky, folky appearance. It has some wear, but I really don't mind it. The price was right, and, for once, I didn't even bargain. I used to sell antiques, so it's in the blood! 
This quilt just makes me happy, and I never tire of looking at it.

What a gorgeous quilt and it looks like it was made for that spot. Is the fabric blue or green that has gone blue over time?
What a quilt, this is the sort I love to look at. It's so different to the red and green in this style.

What a wonderful treasure! I love the Folk Art feel of the quilt. I agree with your thoughts that this has always been blue. The ones that were a double process dye faded to an odd shade and your blue is so clear and pretty. It would be great fun to trace the design and make a new version. :)
